I’m just as excited about the next guy about Google’s acquisition of super-cool Grand Central but it was disappointing to get access to the beta only to discover Grand Central isn’t available in Canada. What’s with that? For those unfamiliar with Grand Central, it’s a Web-based service that routes all your numbers – home, cell, work, etc. – to the same place.

Thanks Boris, I did the same thing and have a US local number for my friends there and I am getting all my call from them here in Canada. Free for them and Free for me too.
Waiting to get a local number here in Toronto!
Thanks
For scottys information. the “young lady” can open a grand central account which will forward her calls to her canadian number, but the number which she will receive will be a US number (she can get a number in your area code) so it will be free for you to call her.
I wish it would! I am in the US, and have been talking to a young lady in Ontario….
