[LEFT: Reza Solhi, AKA "Anthony" Solhi]
I admit that prior to this morning the idea of a U.S./Canadian border fence seemed laughable and preposterous. After reading the Taking Your Dough expose and watching the investigative CTV W-5 videos on how convicted Canadian fraudster Reza Solhi (AKA Anthony Solhi) has now brought his infamous franchising practices south of the border, I’m not only for building it, I’d suggest running 20,000 volts or so through it.
The videos, which total about 20 minutes, alternate between heart-wrenching interviews with victims who have lost their life savings to Solhi & his cohorts, to undercover footage showing a franchise salesman in action, pitching Solhi’s Anthony’s Kitchen franchise to a couple in a Chicago hotel lobby, and, separately, the salesman bragging about how he sells dreams to “gullible” franchise prospects for up to $600,000.
What’s wrong America? Aren’t we producing enough of our own franchise and biz-opp scammers? Are we gonna let these Hosers come in and take the caviar from the mouths of our native conmen, charlatans and get-rich-quick masters? Where’s our sense of national pride?

Anthony’s Franchise Info: Blog with numerous links to articles, legal judgements and info on Reza Solhi, his associates. According to this site “Solhi has owned and managed the 3 for 1 Pizza franchise chain and in connection with that chain, he was criminally charged with fraud. Subsequently, he started the Pizza One, Pizza Uno and Anthony’s Kitchen franchises under the sole directorship of his mother Ashraf (Ashley) Mirkhan.”

I am one of the victim of Mr. Anthony or Reza or whatever other name that he calls himself. Recently he has set up his own blog claiming to be innocent and that he has been wrongly been dragged by media.
This criminal cheated numerous new immigrants, specially the poor and illiterates coming from third world; taking their life earnings, making them destitute, causing hardship for people working in pizza joints.
I had been one of his franchisees and he duped me with over half a million dollars by repossessing my shop and selling it off a month before repossessing it to another buyer.
Everything was proved in court of law and I was awarded a judgment in my favor with judge granting me damages, legal costs and other costs totaling nearly $500,000/- . This man who claims to have been defamed by press and media is a first class CHEAT and I can challenge him any time on live TV program to prove him a lier and a criminal.
I migrated from Holland for better future in Canada and lost all my life saving to this crook and suprisingly he is going scotch free by declaring himself bankrupt.
Be ware of this man who not only is cheating individuals but also creating problems for the Canadian government by grabbing wealth from poor people who have no recourse but to start living on government’s social benefits.
It seems the he even hoodwinks the law and the government!

I have met his son on many occasions. He is a minime of his father exactly.
A boy who will know the true about his father one day.

I was working at his place and he still owed my money. He never give a contract and pay cash to all of his staff but he still rip you off 21% tax salary which is – i believe – go to his pocket.

Hi all,
We waited a long time to file this. We were always hoping that he would come around and pay us. Boy after finding these links we are stupid.
We are a computer company who sent in 2 or 3 technicians to Five Star Quality Foods business. We even did work at his next location when he fled (we found out later).
We got once payment for like 200.00 or so however after that the 3000.00 or so was never paid to us. We did work on his 10 computers or so doing work for his many employees with massive turn over for 3 months or so.
At his new place, he apologized and gave us more cheques. This time his cheques bounced again and he disappeared again.

Please be wary of this person as you may not get paid.
Many of employees did NOT get paid as of yet over the time we saw the hiring turnover rate.
Our fees for services and equipment is still being owed and he has not paid.

I cant Believe the number of people he has screwed over & is still getting away with it. Its unreal that this is still going on.I doubt anyone has gotten any of there money after quieting?.I once worked for him & was never paid & Don’t plan to be due to his history. Last place I saw him was At: Public Cash & Carry. I’m interesting in knowing where he has moved to now?.

I was another luck person who got to work for this asshole…. I worked for him for 3 weeks and never received any pay…. this is over a year ago. I was working a Five Star Quality Foods. When I went to go collect my check, he started calling me a whore and bitch, he called his gang who was working (illegally) in the warehouse and they attacked my husband, leaving him scared on his back. This guy is a real asshole, I can’t wait to see the day…. because I will that he get everything he deserves.
And Anthony if you are reading this ….. Your an ASSHOLE!!!
