This week’s Carnival of Personal Finance is hosted by Free Money Finance. As usual, there are a number of interesting and informative personal finance posts included. They range from ludicrous tales of money mayhem to helpful hints and insight into where things might be going from here — and how you can prepare your finances (or even take advantage of the situation).
My personal favorites from this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance include:
- Story of a school bus driver whose $800,000 home is being foreclosed. Talk about the poster child for excess.
- Tips on cutting your car insurance bill in half.
- A look at the meaning of “within your means”.
- Making a self-employed income plan.
- Investment strategy for after the crash.
- What to do if your credit card application is rejected.
And, of course, I’m glad that my musings on refinancing were included in this week’s carnival.
