Software for Taxes and Writers

moneyOkay, I’ll brag. My 2007 taxes are done! I do use an accountant, but since I’ve added Quicken, it gets easier and easier. I might even try this myself next year.

Kelly Phillips is our TaxGirl here at b5 and she’s got a great post about the differences in tax software. It’s worth of read even if you’re only thinking about doing it yourself.

This is a great link. One of the most daunting aspects of working as a freelancer is tax time. As I start my career in freelancing, I am trying to get off on a good footing as far as tax records are concerned. Any other recommendations you could offer a beginner regarding taxes would be more than welcome.
