Shared in the Manager Tools forums is this simple, yet brilliant, meeting cost calculator, perfect for your iPhone.
It’s got all you need to calculate the cost of your meeting:
- Number of participants
- Average salary
- Start button
- Stop button
- Reset button
See what I mean. Simple, yet brilliant!
And yes, the meeting cost calculator will work in your browser, you don’t have to have an iPhone. But it does make it a LOT more useful if you do.

Thanks Phil. This is an interesting concept to add to a phone. In the event the company doesn’t allow iphones in the meeting, I found a guy that invented a free-standing meeting cost calculator at http://www.bringtim.com There must be a lot of people getting fed up with long meetings!

Mike – Good point, though I’d say if you’re using it as a timing tool, you can bring it into my meeting, provided you put it on the table for all to see.
Useful except when the first groundrule is No stinking phones in the meeting!
