Minnesota Congresswoman Pulls Hamstring Stretching to Defend Sarah Palin’s Qualifications for Executive Office
In a tough blow for Republicans, it looks like Minnesota Congresswoman and Stepford wife Michelle Bachman could be out of commission for the Presidential season. Bachman suffered a severe hamstring pull last night on Larry King as she stretched to make the case that Sarah Palin was a well-qualified vice-presidential choice for any other reason other than attempting to pander to women.
Bachman said she “felt something pop” when she came down awkwardly while trying to answer the question as to whether Palin was the most qualified Republican available.
“I’m just devastated,” said Bachman who had diligently warmed-up prior to appearing on Larry King using a combination of yoga, tai-chi and watching old tapes of Dan Quayle’s defenders.
“I had hoped to be a real force as we went into playoff season but I guess trying to paint Sarah Palin as a cross between Margaret Thatcher and Teddy Roosevelt was just too much,” lamented Bachman.
“On the positive side,” said the Congresswoman, “being able to peddle this kind of horse crap with a straight face for seven straight minutes on national TV makes me feel pretty good about my own chances for higher office.”

Warning: The image of Congresswoman Bachman injuring herself is graphic and may be disturbing to some thinking viewers.
