Hi everyone! I’ll be taking the reins on Buzznetworker.com from Kevin. There’ll be a few changes coming up, but for the meantime, I’m looking forward to getting rolling here. First, I’d like to thank Kevin for all he’s done here. Wishing you the best in your future ventures.
I’ve been in PR for almost 7 years now, and have been running my own business, Type A Public Relations for 5 of those.
My background is traditional PR, but I’ve got a mile wide geek-streak, which means that I spend time playing with pretty much every social media tactic out there. What’s good about that is that I look at everything with an eye towards “how can I use this for my clients?”, and I won’t use anything for them that I am not sure will get me the kind of results I’m looking for.
I’m planning on telling you about some of the neat ways companies are using social media or PR, how “PR 2.0″ works, (as well as how it doesn’t), and take a look at some successes and failures in this world. If there’s anything you’re interested in hearing about specifically, please let me know.
