Friday Fun Video: FTC Credit Report Ad

We’ve all seen the freecreditreport.com ads. They are amusing and sometimes clever. However, the product comes with a catch that makes your “free” credit report anything but. In order to combat these commercials, the FTC spoofed them for their own ads about annualcreditreport.com. One can only hope they haven’t resulted in confusion.

There’s always a catch to these ads. Nothing is really free these days. A lot of these websites offering these free credit reports will have you going through a maze of offers before you actually get your, “FREE CREDIT REPORT.”
