As most sites report, any selling claiming to be “out of the country” and “in need of a quick sale” because of a recent divorce, military deployment, or no need of a perfectly good vehicle must be looked at as a scam.

I found an awesome deal for a ’04 Audi A4 3.0 on Craigslist for $2800.00 We started to do some investigating and when I could not get the “seller” to give me direct answers I went on and called Moneybookers.com Customer Service Center…They ran the email address I had for the seller and I was informed that this email address was NOT registered with their company!!!!! The lady from Moneybookers.com informed me to NOT send the $ because I would become a victim of a scam and be ripped off!! My advice is if they(the seller) are using Moneybookers.com, call their customer service # and verify if the email address is registered with the company.

Lucky that i did more reasearch and found this, this is a big help to. This is the worstest scam i ever been in. I everyone.. I received a similar email about a 69 Camaro worth 45,000 selling for 2900.. Just remember.. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Do your research. There are great deals out there, you have to pay attention to what people say and don’t ignore inconsistancy.

Ok so the price was firm, and I noted he wanted me to not ‘loose’ time AKA hurry hurry hurry, (second red flag) however I had questions about where the truck was (I live in the desert and the pictures showed a whole lotta green around the truck, third red flag)

ALSO when i inquired further about the lien on the title, he told me it was clean and simply hadn’t been updated, and that I didn’t have a thing to worry about as he was incuring all the risk as i would have his truck at my disposal for only 2,640.00, and that to ensure the trust of the deal he dosen’t even get that untill I accept the merchandise, so what did I have to ‘loose’?
