Cocaine Bust Nets Dead Sharks

– Drug Seizure Raises Concerns That Somewhere There’s A Hyperactive Great White With The MunchiesThat’s Hogging the Bathroom at the Club –

A group of men were arrested on charges of drug smuggling when authorities discovered more than 20 sharks with cocaine concealed inside of them.

Customs agents became suspicious when a large number of sharks showed up at the airport for Flight 420 from Colombia to Miami.

One customs agent, who asked to remain anonymous, noted that the authorities were tipped off by suspicious behavior.

“There were a number of sharks seated in First Class. Everybody knows sharks only fly Coach.”

Smuggling cocaine inside of sharks is only one of many ploys used by drug cartels to get their wares into the United States.

Drug lords have been forced to become increasingly creative with the manner in which they smuggle drugs in response to advancements in law enforcement technology and the release of the movie Traffic which showed everybody how to make cocaine into statues.

In a related story, the shark fin soup at Hunan Palace took first place again this year in a nationwide Zagat’s survey.

Customers described the soup as “positively addicting.”

Umm… cocaine does not give you the munchies (quite the opposite) and isn’t psychoactive if ingested through the stomach (so adding cocaine to soup is just a very expensive waste of time). The linked article was informative, though.
