Clever Ways To Promote Your Freelance Writing Business

ideabulb.jpgOne of the keys to a successful freelance writing business is shameless self-promotion. Freelance Switch lists 12 ways freelancers can promote themselves, and most of them do apply to writers.

My favorite is, of course, write a book, or an ebook, or more than one. I like these because I’ve done it and it works. I want to explore how to write a blog post for Digg’s front page… that will be a stretch!

What’s easiest for you? And what would you like to stretch into?

Write well and often,

Writing With Vision – for those who want to get a book written.

I saw that post earlier today. A lot of people were not happy that most of those were basically “write for free” suggestions.

interesting perception, Allena… you’re right, most of them are write for free, but as I recall they are mostly one shot things… and some, like the aim for the digg front page involve writing bloggers are already doing… hmmmm

Thanks for this link, Allena! Those are some great ideas for self-promotion, and I’m going to look into the ebook thing.
