The Dr. Phil show recently announced that they would be hitting the road to meet their audience or followers. It seems that Dr. Phil’s team wants to reach out and extend their brand with this action. Could this be a smart move on their part by taking the show to the people which could help them reach more people? Another tool that Dr. Phil is using to brand is his website.

When you visit his website, http://DrPhil.com, you will see different ways that Dr. Phil has branded his persona. One of the first things I noticed was the scrolling moniker that provides details regarding ways to interact with Dr. Phil. On the rest of the page are additional buttons that will direct you to specific areas on the website so that you can interact with Dr. Phil and others.
As a business owner, have you branded your website in a way that encourages interaction similar to how Dr. Phil has done. Below are three simple questions you should ask yourself about your web branding efforts:
- Do you direct your web visitors to specific sections to learn more about your products and services?
- Have you built-in a “press kit” into your website so that those interested in interviewing you can download information from your website?
- Do you have an FAQ section built into your website to give a way for frequently asked questions to be answered on your website?
Having these things in place can help you extend your brand so that it can grow in the eyes of your web visitors.
