Microsoft pumps 300 million USD

Vista

Microsoft seems confident of their product, Windows Vista, as they begun their offensive marketing assault telling consumers and enterprises how good the product is. The image above is a marketing campaign that brings you to the facts, good & positive, of Windows Vista. Microsoft’s VP of Windows Vista has this to say:

You thought the sleeping giant was still sleeping?

Well, we’ve woken up, and it’s time to take our message forward.

When Windows Vista debuted in January 2007, we declared it the best operating system we had ever made. Windows Vista is beautiful, The New York Times raved. It’s humbling that millions of you agree.

But we know a few of you were disappointed by your early encounter. Printers didn’t work. Games felt sluggish. You told us–loudly at times–that the latest Windows wasn’t always living up to your high expectations for a Microsoft product…Our goal is always to make each new version of Windows better than the last. With Windows Vista, we’re convinced we succeeded.

Microsoft has chosen a new strategy to erase the stigma of Windows Vista in its early days. They have humbly admitted the problems the operating system first had and how it has evolved 18 months after into a stable and worthy system. With 300 million on their campaign, it should go a long way pushing their image up positively.
