Does My Device Working in Vista Work on Windows 7?

When Windows Vista came up many hardware devices did not run correctly on the latest operating system. Until Windows Vista SP1, users were not pleased with the earlier version of Windows Vista. Here comes Windows 7. A lot of folks are wandering whether they would encounter the same problem with the upcoming operating system.

Simply put, everything that works correctly in Windows Vista should work correctly in Windows 7 given that the code base of Windows 7 is Vista. Microsoft has also improved Win 7 by making sure that applications and devices that run on Windows XP but did not run on Vista would run in Windows 7.

Initially, Microsoft marketed that leaping from Windows XP to Windows 7 is more problematic than incremental upgrades from Windows XP to Windows Vista followed by Windows 7. The latest move of Microsoft which made sure that devices not running in Vista would run in Windows 7 makes the leap easier and logical.
