Prior to the sixth and final season of Lost, executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse partnered with comedian Paul Scheer and a fictional entity called Ronie Midfew Arts (an anagram for “Widmore Fine Arts”) to produce a set of 16 art pieces called the Lost Underground Art Project. These works of art would be created by popular, talented artists, dedicated to the fans of the show, and highlight 16 “water cooler moments” from the history of the show. (There’s also been hints that the 16th and final piece might be a clue for Season 6, but it’ll be a while before we have to worry about that.)
So approximately once a week, at DamonCarltonandaPolarBear.com, a new art piece in the series is unveiled at an event somewhere in the U.S., where its shown off at a new website with a URL that matches a famous quote from the show. The events are different every time, and can be any kind of event, anywhere. DCaaPB.com posts hints a few days in advance regarding where and what the next event is going to be, and sometimes those who show up to these unveilings are given exclusive freebies.
All art pieces are made available to purchase for $50, in exclusive print runs of just 300 pieces.
This page catalogs all 16 art pieces with full information about them and the events where they are unveiled.
