I was always a sucker for those Where’s Waldo? books. I would said that I wasn’t going to even look at them but then I’d end up sitting there searching for that iconic red and white striped shirt for hours.
It’s been some years since I picked up anything related to those books but now the Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey video game has been released for both the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS and I’m actually considering picking up a copy (or, at least, renting it).
As you might expect, the game is all about finding Waldo among a sea of people. I’m not completely sure how it works but, from what I’ve seen, it’s like an animated version of the books.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find any really good quality screenshots but I did track down this trailer which will give you a better idea of what to expect but it’s pretty self-explanatory.
It seems like it would be great for the whole family since it doesn’t require any major gaming skills and even small children can look for Waldo.

haha i LOVED Where’s Waldo. I’m actually pretty excited about this and going to try it out with the Wii. What a great idea, I just hope that it’s as fun as i remember!
