Vista in october or november?

Everybody keeps guessing the Vista release-date (including me), last time I checked Microsoft would release Vista in the week of 2 October. A while back I wrote about a possible releasedate on December 1st and now it looks like its gonna be November… So we now have covered the last three months of 2006, anybody wanna put a bet on September?

Anyway, we still don’t know the exact day, but according to Chris Randall, Windows Vista will be released in November of this year (via arstechnica.com):

This is the year…the year that Microsoft releases the newest version of Windows. Yes, Vista will be released in November of this year. So what is so compelling that our customers would want to spend money upgrading to the Vista operating system?
