SendMeRSS.com

SendMeRSS is a web service in the beta stage that allows users to receive RSS feeds through email. This is done by providing the RSS feed URL and your email. The drive to simplify things is great. See the one minute demo video here.

So what does SendMeRSS do aside from sending RSS feeds via email?

Aside from the email service. SenMeRSS also offers a widget for online publishers. All the publisher has to do is to provide the RSS Feed url and the service will produce a widget and its html code , which the publisher then install on the site. This will allow punters and visitors of the site to sign up for rss via email.

SenMeRSS seems to be owned by NBC Universal and NBC Universal is a US-based media and entertainment company check their company profile here.

Another alternative to Feedburner? I like their video and it ends with the phrase:

We make RSS as simple as reading email

Clearly, They have not seen my email’s In Box.

On my 40th birthday, May 20th, I’m going live with Reblinks. The new RMail.

I created RMail 4 yrs ago and sold it to NBC who killed it. Now we get RMail 2.0 with a promise not to sell it to stupid people like those at NBC.
