Ohio Police Use YouTube to Catch Crime

A Sheriff police office in Ohio wasn’t able to catch suspects involved in a large disturbance because when they arrived on the scene the fight was almost over with participants going their separate ways. The disturbance happened in suburban Twinsburg Township and patrol commander Major Roger Kline admitted that people were already leaving the scene when they arrived. The suspects could have gotten a free ride had somebody didn’t post the entire fight on YouTube, a five minute and 16 second clip named “tburg fight”.

As a result, Summit county office arrested two people and issued warrants for three more as they were identified through the video with the help of local high school teachers and administrators.
