The official video game of the upcoming Olympics will be released on January 12, 2010. Vancouver 2010 allows players to simulate the events of the actual Winter Olympic Games so I know that fans of the biggest sporting event in the world will probably want to pick up a copy.
I wouldn’t say that this is the highest quality game I’ve ever seen which is unfortunate since the Olympics are such a big deal but it could be worse.
The events include Alpine Skiing (giant slalom, slalom, downhill and Super G), Sledding two-man bobsleigh, luge singles, skeleton), Freestyle Skiing (aerials, ski cross), Snowboarding (parallel giant slalom, snowboard cross), Ski Jumping (individual large hill), Speed Skating (500 m short track speed skating and 1,500 m Short track speed skating).
There are 30 different challenges than can be unlocked.
