Nobel Prize Economics Game “Trade Ruler”

trade ruler “As the Supreme Ruler of an island you want the country to prosper. By engaging in international trade you can achieve this goal. Good luck!”

You get to pick your island (you’ll see how much labor and capitol that each one has to potentially offer you), create an online persona, choose your trade partner, and then get going. I was the ruler of Pink Island, where my two major tasks were to control my island’s production of jeans and cell phones, and trade goods with my trade partner. As you produce goods, you’ll see newscasts talking about what you’re doing and how it’s affecting the island wages, culture, etc. My people were NOT happy with my unfair trade practices.
