LG VX8700 Gets Previewed

The problem with LG is that they have the worst product naming schemes. They should have just stuck to “Chocolate” and other dessert profiteroles.

Okay, that was a useless rant. I came by some pictures of the VX8700, which is one of the fancier clamshells of LG. It resembles much of what Samsung inherited in terms of design but operates more like the LG Chocolate. For more pictures and video, you can click here.

I’ve owned this phone for about 7 months now and think very highly of it. It has everything I need (right now) in a cell phone. The two favorite upgrades I like is the 2.0 megapixal camera and the 1000 entry phone book. I blew past my 500 entry model some time ago, and as a contractor I need this space to store numbers. Also the metal jacket feels great, a little slippery at times, but ok.
