HP w2228h: What’s Hot, What’s Not

hp-w2228h.jpg

A 22-inch LCD display that features 2 USB ports and support for HDMI, DVI, and VGA. Read on to see what’s hot, and what’s not.

What’s Hot

  • 22 inches of visual goodness!
  • 1680 x 1050 resolution, perfect for working with lots of Windows
  • Height, swivel, and orientation (landscape or portrait) adjustment
  • Nice contrast level
  • Wide viewing angle
  • 2 USB ports
  • HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports support lots of devices
  • Built-in speakers do not sound like tin cans
  • Comes with all the cables you need

What’s Not

  • Heavy
  • Price, while great for 22-inchers, is still not cheap
  • Adjusting display’s angle requires two hands and some muscle
  • Changing the display’s orientation sort of mucks up the cables; ports should’ve been placed on base
  • Built-in speakers lack bass
