This seems perfect for presenters who want full control over their Powerpoint presentation, even as the computer lies across the board room. The EFO Bluetooth handheld keyboard features a QWERTY thumb board and a small touch screen; what you type comes out on a connected computer, and you can slide your finger on the display to aim the mouse pointer and click on stuff.
Even better, EFO’s gadget comes with a free Bluetooth Dongle, so those with computers that need to play catch up don’t need to spend extra. EFO’s Bluetooth handheld keyboard will become available via online retail sometime next monthm for $60, and $50 for early birds. EFO currently has a wired version of this gadget for $22. Sounds great for PS3 but not on the compatible list?

If it follows the protocols the screen should work like any BT mouse.
I would guess the Windows requirement is for the drivers for the dongle that makes it work on a non BT computer???

Good point. But the specs say it only works for Windows PCs. Wouldn’t know how the touch screen would interface with a PS3 in any case.

Perhaps… as the video shows, the gadget works with any Bluetooth-enabled PC out of the box, so maybe it will automatically interface with the PS3, at least for text input? In any case, I’ve sent an email to EFO, let’s see what they say. :)

I wouldn’t about that :P
But here’s a reply from EFO: “Our Bluetooth Handheld Keyboard supports standard bluetooth 2.0, so any device support bluetooth 2.0 can work with. Even if the device don’t have build-in bluetooth 2.0, the people can use our bundled USB bluetooth dongle to communicate with their device. It is because our keyboard’s developed concept is the wireless extension of standard USB keyboard. This means if standard USB keyboard can work, our keyboard can work too.”
