Neville Hobson talks about problems he encountered with Windows Desktop Search in Vista. He says that problems are caused by background indexing processes. While I do not share his sentiments, there might be people and readers of WVW who have these issues.
In Neville’s post, he included a video on changing the Vista Desktop Search to Copernic. Wow, Copernic! It brought memories back when I was still in College when my friend taught me about it. It’s been ages since I last heard of it.
Anyways, below is the video:

The site of Neville is here. I was trying to link to his exact post but it gave me a “Not Found” message. The title of his post is “Change default desktop search in Vista SP1″

Hello,
No problem Neville. :)
Milo, thanks for writing about my suggestion for changing the default search in Vista, even if you don’t agree with my reasoning ;)
You visited my blog on the 18th – the day I had some major service issues with DreamHost, my hosting service. The site is now fully available.
