The film follows the story of cowardly shut-in, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), who must team up with seasoned zombie-slayer, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) in order to survive the zombie apocalypse.  This is where things get weird… Tallahassee is searching for the last Twinkie on Earth when he and Columbus duo meet up with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin).  Nice names, huh?

The odd foursome unite to try to fight back against the undead but it begins to look like they might have been better off taking their chances alone.

When you consider the names of the main characters – Columbus (Eigenberg), Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) – it just feels like the creators are trying too hard.  Maybe they are but it’s October which means it’s hard to pass up a good zombie flick.

The premise is similar to all of the other films in the genre – people try to survive after the world becomes overrun with the undead.  Could be good but it looks a little on the dodgy side but, as I said before, it’s hard to complain with Halloween around the corner.  People are probably going to see it.  Check out the trailer:
