GameStop announced that it will host a collection of “Midnight Awakening” launch events at approximately 3,500 their stores, celebrating the midnight release of Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft: Cataclysm on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
Starting at 10:00pm local time on Monday, December 6, 2010, WoW fans can head to GameStop to enjoy costumed revelers, trivia games, dance contests and more. And whoever picks up a copy of Cataclysm at midnight will receive lthe Cataclysm Perk Pack.

A man has been on the run from Indiana law enforcement since a warrant for his arrest was issued back in 2007 stemming from charges related to dealing multiple controlled substances. Incredibly, Blizzard (the company behind the incredibly popular game World of Warcraft) did what the U.S. Marshals couldn’t – they tracked down the fugitive.

Over the years, I’ve heard people say a lot of things about World of Warcraft but I’ve never had anyone claim that it has strengthened their relationship. Google has finally decided that game themes deserve to grace our desktops and has added a new “Games” tab for when you’re looking for that perfect theme.Call of Duty:World at War and Street Fighter IV are in the three and four spots as far as “hotness” go and I have a feeling that more games will quickly rise to the top as more people realize that they can now add their favorite game as their theme.
