“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: An IMAX 3D Experience” broke a number of international IMAX records, according to IMAX corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures.

The movie grossed $3.6 million in its first five days, which set the record for the biggest international gross. The $570,000 made on the Wednesday opening was also an international record. A third record was set when “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: An IMAX 3D Experience” grossed $875,000 in a single day.
