Scene It? Twilight will be released this week and, even thought you might not be into it (although, my brother totally shocked me by seeing New Moon and declaring that he is “Team Jacob” so you might be one of those guys who totally digs the books and movies), it could make a pretty sweet Valentine’s Day gift for that special woman in your life.

The Scene It? games are pretty good in general although I find that the questions can range from ridiculously easy to just plain ridiculous.  If you are, or know some, Twilight fans, it could make for a fun evening to go head-to-head as you prove your knowledge about the vampire storyline.

Here are some game details:

• Voice over from Dr. Carlisle Cullen included from Twilight the movie for transitions and player feedback
• 400 multiple choice questions based on movie clips, music and audio from the Twilight movie
• Single player mode and new scoring systems keep the game close, exciting and accessible to everyone

400 multiple choice questions!?  Wow!  I might pick up a copy for my daughter.  That should keep her busy for a few hours…

I mean, this guy is supposed to be totally in love with this girl but he holds that back from her constantly. It is like a threat hanging over her head, “don’t mess up or I’ll take it all away”. He admits that he is dangerous for her to be around and says he wants her to be safe but constantly does things that put her in harms’ way. I mean, he even leaves to get away from her but then comes back. And what is with this dude being all self righteous and acting omnipotent?

Do girls really want someone like that? A guy who will threaten to leave at every turn, who will put you in danger, who controls your every move, who watches over you like a hawk, who requires that you get permission for decisions in your own life, and who will pull away from you if you do something he doesn’t approve of? What kind of messed up relationship is that?

Now there is the latest Twilight movie that just came out last week — New Moon. Luckily, I won’t have to go see this one but I am waiting for the maelstrom to start again. So I can be told that I should be more like Edward, a monster who also happens to be (wait for it) completely fiction.

The film picks up after the events in Twilight.  All is right in the world of Bella and Edward until Jasper loses his mind and tries to attack her at her own birthday party.  As a result, Edward believes the noble thing is to leave his true love forever and she practically dies of a broken heart out in the woods.

As is often the case, there’s another guy just waiting for Edward to go away and Jacob emerges and Bella’s protector, confidante and romantic interest.  She’s clearly still hung up on Edward but I’m guessing Jacob’s ripped abs are enough to make her question her loyalty.

Anyway, I don’t want to completely give the story away so, instead, you could just check out the trailer:

Today’s video is a spoof of the hilarious Mad TV sketch of the world’s loneliest homeboy hitting on an unsuspecting female, with a Twilight twist.  I find everything about Twilight pretty hilarious and embarrassingly bad, so I couldn’t resist featuring this video.

Maybe if Edward Cullen spoke like this I wouldn’t have copped a snooze in the theatre.

The Summit Entertainment panel was the hottest ticket in town at Comic-Con on Thursday, as the core cast and the film’s director turned out to promote and talk about The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the second movie in the series.

On hand were stars Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward), Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Ashley Greene (Alice), and director Chris Weitz. Rather than read about the panel, I know you’d rather see it for yourself. And you’re in luck, because I managed to capture the entire event on film! (Minus the exclusive footage from the film shown to attendees, of course. No one’s allowed to film that, though somebody out there probably managed to.)

Anyway, here’s the entire panel, from start to finish. Below the video are a handful of pics I snapped as well, including some of the crowds before the panel started. Enjoy!

It looks like a regular board game so there shouldn’t be any tricky new skills to learn.  The questions are about the film adaptation of Twilight and about your friends (I’m not sure how that works but it could be fun).  You have to be the first to travel across all the spaces on the board and you must collect 8 Scene Cards.

The only drawback is that it is based on the movie and book purists (like me) may either get confused or be disappointed.  I wish they had made a game based on trivia from the entire series.  If it had been designed that way, I would have probably bought it for my family.

The game is for 2-8 players, ages 10 and up.
