Betty White was funny on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, but in recent years, Betty has garnered a cult-like following. She was a big hit when she hosted Saturday Night Live and appears in many commercials.

Today, Betty White turns 90. The last surviving Golden Girl, White doesn’t appear to be slowing down. On Monday, she was celebrated in a star-studded TV special on NBC — “Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A tribute to America’s Golden Girl.” And now, she’s about to premiere a new show Off Their Rockers — a senior citizen hidden camera show.

Congrats to Betty White on all her achievements, and Happy Birthday!

Charlie Harper Will Kick the Bucket

People have been wondering what will happen to Charlie Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, on “Two and a Half Men.” Well, according to TMZ — the character is going to be killed off.

The sitcom will apparently turn tragic when it premieres in September as producers close the door on any chance Charlie will ever return to the show. According to TMZ sources, the character will die — possibly by driving his car over a cliff. The first episode won’t be filmed until August 5 — so things are subject to change, of course.

It was first thought that Ashton Kutcher would be taking over the role of Charlie Harper. But he’s going to be a fresh new character on the show — perhaps someone who buys Charlie’s house after his death.

Columbo Dies at 83

Peter Falk, the star of the TV series Columbo, died on Thursday night at 83-years-old. Falk, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shera, and two daughters from his previous marriage.

Though he was widely known for his role as police detective, Lt. Frank Columbo, Falk also starred in other works, including Princess Bride and Brigadoon.

Can Kelso Play Charlie Harper?

According to MTV News, the producers of “Two and a Half Men” have tapped as the man to replace Charlie Sheen. This will be the first TV role for Kutcher since playing Michael Kelso on “That ’70s Show.”

I’m not sure that he can pull it off. Sheen and Kutcher’s style of comedy is quite different. Kutcher is generally loud and obnoxious in his attempts to be funny, while Sheen is more subdued yet sarcastic.

Not many TV shows have had success when replacing a main actor with someone else playing the exact same character. Most viewers never can make the transition.

Reportedly British actor Hugh Grant passed on joining “Two and a Half Men” and other Sheen replacements that were considered included Woody Harrelson, John Stamos, Jeremy Piven and Rob Lowe.

Strange Sex Back for Season 2

TLC brings viewers back into the bedroom with a second season of Strange Sex, which explores mysterious conditions, unusual fetishes and the kinky science behind sexual attraction. This series candidly exposes individuals who are willing to break their silence and divulge the obstacles, frustrations and embarrassment they must face as they cope with their sexual conditions.

In the premiere episode, viewers are introduced to Ron, a typical suburban husband and father who used to enjoy a robust sex life with his wife, however he’s now found it impossible to climax. Research leads him to conclude that he would have more sensitivity if he could find a way to regrow his foreskin.

The new season also profiles Kelly, a woman born with two vaginas who must come to terms with the possibility of not having children.

Charlie Sheen Now on Twitter

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past week or so, you undoubtedly have heard about the Charlie Sheen saga. Well now, Charlie Sheen is on Twitter, so you can follow his life a little bit closer. Since starting to tweet yesterday, Charlie Sheen has gained over 600,000 followers.

The latest news on Sheen is that the police have removed his twin sons, Bob and Max, from his mansion. A judge granted his estranged wife Brooke Mueller custody and a restraining order against him after she alleged the actor threatened her.

Mueller claims Sheen said: “I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom,” according to TMZ. Sheen denied those words on Today.
