As awesome as it looks, I’m still on the fence about this game.

Will the game play be exactly the same as in the first Assassin’s Creed?

Is it going to include 20 missions that all include the same basic steps but with different scenery and a different time period?

Right now, I don’t care.

I just want to drool over the pretty, pretty pictures and not worry about if the game is going to rock or if it’s going to suck. I won’t be pre-ordering it [even thought both the black and white versions look great] so, I’ll just enjoy the game videos.

There is a new trailer out for Majesty 2 that makes the sim based fantasy game look even more fun to play. Not only does the story sound cool, but they also got someone with a wicked Scottish accent to do the narration! You can’t beat the sound of a good accent. Check it out:

This game is so right up my alley! I can’t find a release date for this game yet, but it is suppose to be released sometime in quarter 2 of this year. I can’t wait to kill me some evil demons!

There is a new trailer out for the next game in the Sherlock Holmes series of adventure games and man, does the trailer make the game look fantastic. It looks like they’ve put a lot of work into this trailer and made it look nice and creepy and dark. Just like you’d think late 1800s England would look when there’s a Jack the Ripper wandering the streets killing prostitutes.

The next game in the series, Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper, puts Sherlock on the trail of one of the most renown serial killers of the 19th century. And seeing as he IS Sherlock Holmes, he should be able to find the killer as he continues forth on his journey to be the best detective EVER known to man.

Too bad Sherlock is just a fictional character and wasn’t really around to find out who dun it!

Here’s the story behind the game:

1888, London, Whitechapel district, a horrible series of crimes takes place in this East End district, atrociously mutilated women are found dead. The police has a hard time finding a serious lead and the murders continue, creating a real psychosis. Sherlock Holmes sets out to find clues in the dark, gloomy streets of Whitechapel searching for the macabre trail of the one that the press calls Jack the Ripper. During the terrifying adventure, Sherlock will attempt to shed some light on the mystery that shrouds the identity and motive of the one who hides behind the terrifying nickname.

About 6 or 7 months ago, dtp entertainment announced a new adventure thriller game for PC called Memento Mori. Now, it’s been awhile since anything has been said about the game, but they’ve finally gotten themselves a trailer, which means the game must be coming to store shelves fairly quickly – probably early 2009!

Here’s what you can look forward to in the story:

Colonel Ostankovich, the commander of a special police department in St Petersburg, and the man who put his honesty at stake by swearing that under his command not an item will get lost in the Hermitage, receives a report of a short alarm failure in the Hermitage. He suspects that something happened. To avoid losing his reputation, he contacts Maxim Durand through Larisa Svetlova. Due to his past, Maxim is at his disposal and has to help him.

In the search for the stolen paintings Max and Lara (mostly on their own) visit the Hermitage, an old library, the Interpol’s headquarters in Lyon, the residence in Scotland and further locations. They interrogate the suspects, search for data, break codes and discover forgeries. All their journeys finally lead Max, accompanied by his brother, to the Finnish cloister. Strange deaths, secret signs and increasingly weird behaviour of Max’s brother André and of those around him force Max to the very edge of sanity.

The game will be playable in three different languages: Czech, German and English. This game will sure to be a world traveler.

Speaking of Halloween, did any of you dress up? I, of course, dressed up like a Mighty Pirate who wears flip flops! Why? Because my boots would look weird with the pants I’m wearing and I wouldn’t want to look WEIRD now would I? I have my pirate cap, a sword, some booty, a belt, an earing and… umm, a pirate like shirt?

Oh, you know you can’t go a week without coming here and reading about Fable II! The game is going to be out in less than a week (a mere 5 days!) and I’m so excited, I can barely even move. Let alone type.

Which makes writing this post kind of difficult.

There is a new video over at GameTrailers in which Peter Molyneux, the brains behind Fable and Fable II (and a load of other games), talks about what they took from Fable and put into Fable II and pretty much how you can make your character anyone you want them to be. Oh, and Peter also says the game is “revolutionary”. I bet it is. Peter really hypes the game up and I can only hope it’s half as good as he says it is.

One part of the trailer that I didn’t know about the game: you can jump into other people’s games using XBox Live. Meaning, if you’re on XBox Live and you see a little floating bubble around, you can jump into it. And your in another on-line player’s world. Now that’s pretty freaking neat. And very different. I thought you would just like… multi-player with another person and didn’t really think that another gamer’s Fable II world would be completely different from your own.

Okay… so here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to make a character that looks exactly like me. Then I’m going to make the character do exactly what I would do in the real world if I had swords and guns. And I’ll even name my dog the same name I gave my real life dog. And then… I WILL RULE ALBION AS MYSELF. Who knows? Maybe I’ll start carrying a sword and gun around in my real life and pretend I’m in Fable II all day long. I CAN BE ANYONE I WANT TO BE DANGIT!

Judging from the trailer, the game looks pretty awesome for a DS game. Looks like there’s a lot of detective work to do and if you’re into detectives and working, this game will make all of your dreams comes true. Just like a Fairy God Parent.
