This first one is called “Sleepwalker.”  In the ad, a man leaves his tent and sleepwalks his way across Africa.  As you can imagine, it’s easy to get parched out in the desert so it’s a good thing he had some ice-cold Coca-Cola to quench his thirst!

In this second ad, “Hard Times” you’ll spot some familiar faces from The Simpsons but there’s one surprise – greedy billionaire, C. Montgomery Burns, has fallen on hard times.  Fortunately, a little Coca-Cola and some good friends can make all the difference.

This is the drink that made Moe a star and drove a wedge between him and his longtime buddy, Homer.  It brought Aerosmith to Springfield, got Moe chicks and almost got him $1,000,000, too.  So, I think it’s probably a pretty tasty beverage.  Well, there’s only one way to find out.

Here’s what you’ll need to make a Flaming Homer.  (Yes, I’m on team Homer)

Ingredients

• 1 oz brandy
• 1 oz sloe gin
• 1 oz peppermint schnapps
• 1 oz blackberry liqueur
• 1 oz strawberry juice

and finally the secret ingredient…

• cough syrup

Now, I did some investigating and it does not state what flavor of cough syrup you can use.  In the actual episode, it is only referred to as Krusty the Clown cough syrup.

However, if I am wrong, please let me know.  I’m sure there is some Simpsonite out there who knows for sure.

For the purposes of this experiment, I will use Dimetapp brand cough syrup.

Preparation

Mix the contents, stir and pour into a glass.  Then add the cough syrup.  Light it on fire.  Extinguish first! (D’oh!) then consume and enjoy!

The episode will air during the upcoming 21st season of The Simpsons (no air date has been announced) when Homer wins a million dollars playing the lottery only to squander it on the private concert.

The new season will feature some other great guests including Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman, Anne Hathaway, Neve Campbell and the late Eartha Kitt, who died last Christmas.  No plot details on these episodes were immediately available.

I know it’s a bit off-topic but I’m wondering how many of you are still watching The Simpsons on a regular basis.  Just earlier tonight I was complaining about how the show used to be funnier but I find it’s getting a little stale.  I will watch the Coldplay episode, though.

Manhunt 2 is just like the first Manhunt but with a different storyline and a new design. Ok. So it’s just like the first Manhunt in that it has the same name…

The hype definitely seems to be founded with Hellgate: London.

TimeShift is the game for you. Definitely going on my must play list.

Do you like donuts?

The Simpsons Game has your name written all over it.

I hate sports games. But, you might like ‘em.

Showtime Championship Boxing is boxing for the Wii. Boxing and Wii? You can’t beat that with a WiiMote stick!

Of course, there are other games that are coming out this week. But, these caught my fancy.

Now, go out and waste your hard earned dough on some games!
