Multiplayer Demo for Uncharted 2…

Yup.
No single player demo for you. Or me for that matter. While I understand Naughty Dog’s and Sony’s desire to show off Uncharted 2′s new multiplayer capabilities, the thing that made the first Uncharted so cool was the story.

Engadget, CNet and Kotaku are all abuzz right now over the rumored PS3 Slim that might, maybe, possibly be available in July.
July, folks.
While I have strong love feelings for my PS3, Darwin is a bit of a brick and while I don’t see myself tossing him anytime soon, a slimmer version would be a nice thing to dream about.

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Screens

No. I don’t have a PSP but I’m gonna get one-mark my words. It WILL happen and the first game that I’m going to get will be Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. I’m a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid franchise and am stoked about Peace Walker.

Wii Wins PS3 Over At Japan In May
The Nintendo Wii still edges over Sony PS3 in Japanese video games hardware sales in May. The data from April 27th to May 31st shows Wii has sold 95,102 units as compared to 77,035 units of PS3. However, the Nintendo DSi has scored the most with 238,037 units sold in May, almost 57 000 more than Sony PSP.
Sadly, only 24,325 Xbox 360 were bought in May.

PSP Laptop, QWERTY Assembled
Someone proves that a QWERTY keypad in a PSP is entirely possible, thanks to folklord36’s modded PSP which combines the essentials of a laptop and the gaming power of a PSP. The Shrine Auditorium was the site for Sony’s E3 2009 Media Briefing Tuesday morning, where the big news was the PSP Go, God of War III, and the upcoming PlayStation motion controller.

Redesigned PlayStation 3 Pics Fake?
Last week, Engadget posted some pictures of what many people have come to believe is the new sleeker, revamped PlayStation 3 (and who could blame Sony for trying?).
The thing is that there really isn’t any proof (yet) that this is the real deal. Something about the writing on the box feels very off (but creating this box had to take a lot of effort) and I’m not sure I can believe that Sony would dish out the kind of cash… More »
PlayStation Network On Other Sony Hardware
With over 20 million registered users around the world, the PlayStation Network or PSN is huge but it doesn’t mean worldwide PS3 sales are better. In order to promote PS3 (sorta), Sony intends to introduce PSN to other hardware (think HDTV, laptops?) under its brand.
So if you don’t have the PS3 or PSP, you can still enjoy the online content but you still need a controller to play online games, if you know what I mean.

Nintendo Not KO By Economic Storm
The economic storm, financial crisis or bad money outlook. Whatever name it takes, there are losses and job cuts everywhere, including the video games industry. Microsoft and Sony have slashed their manpower but the big N reports record profit.
Nintendo made 279.1bn yen for the financial year ending 31st March this year and was optimistic about the video games industry as a whole.

Sony PS3 Outsells Wii In April
The trial one-hour version of Final Fantasy XIII may help the Sony PlayStation 3 to outsell the Nintendo Wii in Japan for the second month. 108,530 units of PS3 were sold as compared to 67,116 units of the Wii in April, said Enterbrain.

I LOVE my PS3. So much so in fact that I named him-Steve III. Don’t ask…I name all of my gadgets.
Steve III is a 20GB PS3 that was purchased right after the PS3′s launch.
