The show follows the life of LAPD officers and has a nice mix of storyline, and police action. Among those on the team are Detective Lydia Adams (Regina King), Officer Ben Sherman (Benjamin McKenzie), Detective Sammy Bryant (Shawn Hatosy) and Officer John Cooper (Michael Cudlitz), all struggling to balance their everyday lives and take on the challenge of dealing with Los Angeles crime.

In October, NBC announced they had cancelled the show, however, in November, TNT announced they would be picking the show back up. The second season has already started and is now airing on TNT.

It’s great to see the show got picked up again. It deserved another season!
