]]> “If I Die Today” is a new song by Lil Wayne — the second single off of his upcoming album entitled ” The Carter IV”. This track features Rick Ross and is produced by Polow Da Don. On my first few listens, I think “If I Die Today” is pretty good but I’m not sure it’s single worthy. Especially for Lil Wayne, who may very well be the hottest name in the hip hop game.

As you can hear in the “If I Die Today” music video below, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross rap about how bad ass they are, how much drugs they move and how sad everyone will be if they day. Lil Wayne, for example, says that the day he dies will be a holiday.

Personally, it to me it seems like Lil Wayne puts more effort in when he’s featured on someone else’s track than he does when making his own albums. Then again, I’ll wait until “The Carver IV” drops before I cement that opinion.
