You’d think Alex Rodriguez would be lying low right now. After all, he’s recovering from hip surgery, and he’s got that nasty steroid thing about ready to wreck his reputation. But A-Rod wouldn’t be A-Rod if he was lying low! Instead, he’s posing for a groovy photo shoot for Details magazine.

Check out the photos here. Doesn’t the one where he’s face to face with the mirror look like he’s going, “You talking to me?”

Mickey Rourke Does His Best Bono Impression

Actor and former boxer Mickey Rourke was seen leaving a lunch date at Nellos in New York this week. The blue shades, which look so very cool on Bono, don’t exactly cut it for him.

But hey – since he’s a former boxer I’m assuming he can probably kick my butt. So I’ll shut up now.

Incidentally, anyone want to guess his age?

Ryan Reynolds Finishes the New York City Marathon

So I know some of you guys must be a fan of hunky Ryan Reynolds. (Remember the show, A Guy, A Girl, and a Pizza Place?)

Ryan wouldn’t normally qualify for this blog, seeing as those he’s an actor and not an athlete……

…. but is he?

Seems he IS a bit of an athletic guy. E! reports that he ran in the New York City Marathon on Saturday with a “very respectable 3:50:22″ time. He also joked that he was “not a runner – I’m a running joke.”

He’s funny and athletic? We love that, don’t we? Before you declare him the most adorable guy around, let me add one more fact to the mix: Ryan was running on Team Fox, which represented Michael J. Fox’s foundation for Parkinson’s. (Ryan’s dad has the disease)

Okay, now you can go ahead and gush….

Before you start sending him love letters, however, remember that he recently married the GORGEOUS Scarlett Johansson…..

….. who was there cheering him on at the race.

Chris Cooley Gives Us TMI Courtesy of a Too-Candid Photo

Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley easily re-routed all the “tight end” jokes we could make by (mistakenly, we’re happy to report) posting a photo on his blog that showed the world what he doesn’t wear when reviewing the playbook.

Note that we are about to link to a non-PG-13 site. Got that? Are you sure? ‘Cause we don’t want any hate mail for providing a link with manhood parts at the bottom of the screen that children and prudes should 100% avoid. OK now. Ready? Look closely at the (appropriately enough) bottom of the screen here.
