One thing I particularly enjoy about my job is when I get emails about cool stuff. I really like it when the cool stuff comes in the form of videos. And pictures. I like pretty pictures.
Anyway, I got this email about the makers of Wallace & Gromit getting together with Nintendo and coming up with three promotional shorts to publicize Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the DS and DSi. All three videos are around 20 seconds in length and though… More »
I’ve done Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred and I thought I was going to die.
This woman doesn’t let up and just keeps pounding away at you until you submit or give up.
And apparently people like that in a gal since her first Wii title has sold over 600k games and she’s following those whopping sales with the release of Fitness Ultimatum 2010 and Pocket Trainer 2010 .
Fitness Ultimate is a boot camp style workout that utilizes the Wii… More »
If I had a DS, then I would be forced by my daughter to buy Happy Party with Hello Kitty and then I would never see my DS again. She’s a bit crazy about anything Hello Kitty and she’s not the only one.
The game is set to release the 19th of September and promises to be happy, happy, happy.
In the game, you’ll be able to send out invitations to all of Hello Kitty’s friends, make dresses with all of the… More »
Oh, well dammit to hell.
Okami was one of my favorite PS2 games and I almost teared up when I traded it in for another game. No. Really. I almost cried.
The game was absolutely stunning. The storyline was good and there was actually some replay value to it.
Ever since I bought my PS3, I’ve held out hope that the next Okami would be for the PS3.
Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Destructoid is reporting that the next Okami game -… More »
Best Buy has a great selection of Nintendo DS games that they are selling for under $20! They aren’t the newest titles (although, I did see some from as recently as 2008) but it’s definitely worth checking out. I’m not going to list all of the offerings here but you can check them out on the Best Buy website.
Some that stood for me include Deal or No Deal, LEGO Batman, M&M’s Kart Racing, Big Brain Academy, LEGO Star Wars: The… More »
I know a lot of people only feel like they are “gaming” if it involves mutants and crazy graphics but sometimes you just want to go back to the basics. For those occasions, Nintendo DS owners can pick up 50 Classic Games which I think would probably great for end-of-summer traveling. Players will be able to choose from a variety of games including Chess, Mahjong, Sudoku, Backgammon, Texas Hold Em Poker, Solitaire and more. I think it’s also… More »
Mario & Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story comes out for Nintendo DS on September 14, 2009 but you can put your orders in for the game right now! The game is the latest the Mario & Luigi series and joins Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.
In the game, the Mushroom Kingdom is in danger once again (I’m starting to think that place needs to just be locked down) but this time it’s because of a… More »
I rented the first Overlords game for PS3 last year sometime and I play the crap out of that game. I played and played and played until I got to this one part where I had to mow the grass in a certain amount of time and I couldn’t do it. I tried and tried and tried but I ended up just giving up on the game.
Now, Overlord II is out and I’m downloading the demo for PC. Yay, for… More »

I Heart Geeks! is basically a set of puzzle games that’s set for a Q3 release here in the US on the DS.
From the release:
Produced in collaboration with Marc Ecko Entertainment, the game features a tongue-in-cheek story and hip art style where the brainy Geek overcomes the brawny (and bullying) Jocks, winning the heart of the beautiful Cheerleader.
“Now that all the hard work on ‘I Heart Geeks’ is done, you can really see all the pieces come together. The game… More »
The Legendary Starfy was released for Nintendo DS this week and the graphics are so colorful and playful that they almost make you forget how crazy the game’s plot sounds!
Starfy is sleeping comfortably in his bed when out out the sky, an astronaut suit-wearing rabbit named Bunston falls through his roof and wakes him up.
As if that wasn’t enough, Bunston’s unorthodox arrival at Pufftop Palace sets off a chain of events and Starfy finds himself using his spin attack to… More »
When we have finished eating instant cup noodle, we’ll throw away the cup. The cup is deemed disposable but can technology be disposed? iPod, cellphone, laptop, LCD, Nintendo DS and more geeky stuff can be discarded as seen from Kyle Bean.
In other words, these technology gadgets may regard as just wants and what’s important may be the people and love around you. Worth thinking eh?
