New “Nightmare on Elm Street” Trailer!!!
If you are a regular reader here, you probably know two things about me – I love horror movies and I hate most remakes. When it was announced that a new Freddy Krueger had been chosen for a revamped version of Nightmare on Elm Street I almost cried. First of all, I love those movies. Secondly, the original Freddy (brought to like by Robert Englund) was so perfect. He was scary, creepy and alarmingly witty.

Kellan Lutz Joins New “Elm Street” Flick
Twilight star, Kellan Lutz, is set to join the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. I’m still not thrilled that the classic horror flick is being tampered with at all but I’m trying to remain optimistic.
So far, Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen) has been cast as the new Freddy Krueger and Lutz joins Thomas Dekker and Rooney Mara who will be portraying the all-important role of Nancy Thompson.

Nightmare Gets New Freddy Krueger
New Line, in conjunction with Platinum Dunes, is relaunching A Nightmare on Elm Street and I’m really disappointed. They’ve already found a new Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley) and, no offence to him, but no one will ever be Robert Englund to me. There are some things that I think should just be left alone and this franchise is one of them. Are we so out of creative ideas that we need to go back and rework classics?
