On Monday, there might be a Fear Factor worth watching. According to reports, Monday’s Fear Factor will show contestants drinking donkey semen and donkey urine. Yes, you read that right. Totally disgusting … but should be good for a few laughs.
Unfortunately, it might not happen. NBC and Fear Factor producers are considering pulling the show. It sounds like they thinking drinking donkey semen and drinking donkey urine might be too hardcore for television.
While they may be right — and while… More »
They happen every four years, every two if you take into account they now stagger the Summer Games with the Winter Games. The technology available to broadcast and cover the Olympics is greater now than it’s ever been. So why can’t I easily watch what I’m looking for when I want to catch some Olympic TV coverage.
I’ve got a couple of different complaints.

NBC hasn’t exactly been stellar in their coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. I think the worst so far was when they mixed up inspirational cancer victim/Canadian icon, Terry Fox, with actor, Michael J. Fox but this is a close second.

I think I may be looking forward to this years broadcast of the games more than ever because I’m going to be able to enjoy them on my AT&T U-verse television programming. U-verse has recently released… More »
After browsing around the NBC Olympics website I got to noticing just how much screen real estate that Microsoft is gathering on the site. They’ve just about got every single corner of the page covered by one of their properties. Good deal for them, and I’m sure NBC was pleased to get some sponsorship money to help with the giant bandwidth charges they’ll be seeing for the next few weeks. Microsoft has got… More »
I’m really excited about the Olympics getting ready to start on 08.08.08. Even as simple as it is, I love the date it’s about to start. One of the other things I’m looking forward to this year is the ability to really be able to enjoy the highlights of the various events that I will inevitably miss because of work or other responsibilities. NBC has used the Microsoft Silverlight media… More »
