The cancellation of the 4-year-old series starring Jason Lee was a bit of a shock but I am optimistic about the single-camera comedy’s future.  I think it could work out well since TBS acquired the rights to air reruns 2007 so, in theory, they could just do a marathon of old episodes while they gear up for the premiere of the new ones.

It’s all still in the early stages of negotiation but I get the feeling that Earl will live to see another day.
