Okay, so I kind of like musicals. I did something wrong in a past life and have since been paired with a husband who hates musicals ("Why are they singing? Why can't they just talk?"), but I think even he'd like this.

Japan's Takarazuka Revue troupe is putting together a Phoenix Wright musical. No Objection! here!...though I'm hoping for a love-in somehow based around the phrase Hold It!

The Takarazuka Revue troupe is actually all-female. They alternate between male and female... More »
Post from: EveryJoe

Okay, so I kind of like musicals. I did something wrong in a past life and have since been paired with a husband who hates musicals (“Why are they singing? Why can’t they just talk?“), but I think even he’d like this.

Japan’s Takarazuka Revue troupe is putting together a Phoenix Wright musical. No Objection! here!…though I’m hoping for a love-in somehow based around the phrase Hold It!

The Takarazuka Revue troupe is actually all-female. They alternate between male and female roles according to need. They’re lucky; it’s hard to tell the difference with Edgeworth anyway, so I doubt the chosen actor will have to expend much energy to phase in and out of her role.

I’m sure these lovely ladies will do a great job, but I think the King of Crossdressers award goes to The Kids in the Hall. Can the Takarazuka Revue claim it? Ooh I think I just got a great idea for the Phoenix Wright musical’s main plot.
