Release Date Set for “Star Trek” Sequel
For all the Trekkies out there – set your calendars! Reports have been surfacing that the sequel to the Star Trek movie has an official release date.

Though fans originally were anticipating what was supposed to be a summer of 2011 release date for the Star Trek sequel, plans have now been changed. Producer of the films, J. J. Abrams told SCI FI Wire that we should now be expecting the film to be released in 2012.
