image: Amazon.com

I knew about the other planned sequels he mentioned for Ghostbusters and Spider-Man but I had no idea that they would ever consider resurrecting the MIB franchise. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the first film and I’m a huge fan of Tommy Lee Jones (I like Will Smith too!) but I just don’t know if this is a good idea. That second movie (the one with Rosario Dawson) was a little sketchy.

Anyway, if this third film moves forward it would have a 2011 release date which gives them plenty of time to think this over. If they were to do this right, however, it would be a pretty amazing feat. I haven’t heard any definite news about casting but I would be surprised if they had this movie come back with anyone but Jones and Smith.

What do you think? Would you go see a third Men In Black movie? What if it didn’t have the old cast members?
