]]> If you’re in the mood for a scary movie this week, you might want to pick up Last House on the Left which will be released on DVD tomorrow.  Yes, it’s a remake but there’s something that sets it apart from all of the other reworked flicks.

Wes Craven wrote and directed the original back in 1972 and then produced this newest version.  I think it makes a difference since a lot of people think this might have been one of the best horror remakes ever made.

The plot is pretty intense.  A group of strangers takes shelter at the home of John and Emma Collingwood but the couple soon learn that these strangers have shot their daughter, Mari (along with another girl), and have left her for dead.  You won’t believe how far this ordinary couple will go to seek revenge for what these people have done to their daughter.  This movie is filled with all kinds of twists so be prepared for a couple shockers.
