There are many words to describe Michael J. Fox. He’s an actor, of course. I’ve been a fan of his work—especially the “Back to the Future” trilogy—since I was a teenager. And he’s a husband and father. But readers of his new book Always Looking Up (Hyperion, 288 pages, $25.99) will soon know him as the ultimate optimist.
