Of course, someone contacted HBO about this and a spokeswoman said: “It is not out of the realm of possibility. Right now, the creators are concentrating on the new season.”

The show was picked up for a sixth cycle and it probably has another two seasons to go. I guess it will depend on where the storyline is at that point but I just feel like a movie would be weird.

Are you excited by the idea of an Entourage movie?

Last night I watched two different Mark Wahlberg movies, Max Payne and The Happening. I'm usually a big fan of his movies, but these were not two of his better efforts in my opinion. The storylines were okay, but they just didn't connect like some of his other movies I've enjoyed.

Max Payne was a movie that came from a video game. It kind of reminded me of the darkness and revenge of original The Crow with Brandon Lee.

Last night I watched two different Mark Wahlberg movies, Max Payne and The Happening. I’m usually a big fan of his movies, but these were not two of his better efforts in my opinion. The storylines were okay, but they just didn’t connect like some of his other movies I’ve enjoyed.

Max Payne was a movie that came from a video game. It kind of reminded me of the darkness and revenge of original The Crow with Brandon Lee.

The Happening carried on with M. Night Shyamalan freakiness in storyline, but the acting was just okay. In my opinion the premise of the movie was a bit far-fetched, but the visual impact of the story line was quite disturbing.

Mark has had quite a productive career in Hollywood since dropping his pants and singing in his Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch musical career. I prefer his work in movies far higher over his musical endeavors.

From my perspective some of Mark Wahlberg’s best movies were the following:

The Italian Job

Invincible

Shooter

The Departed

The Perfect Storm

What did you think about Max Payne and The Happening? Which one of Mark’s movies was your favorite? Let us know in the comments.

Two more cast members have been added to Steve Carell and Tina Fey’s movie Date Night – Mark Wahlberg and James Franco. I was surprised by Wahlberg since he’s not often in comedies but Franco did make me laugh in Pineapple Express.

image: Newscom

The two actors, who will take on supporting roles, join an already impressive cast including Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), Common, Taraji P. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live).

Director, Shawn Levy, says that he aimed high when trying to create the ensemble cast. “People just kept saying yes,” said Levy. “I think people just really wanted to work with Tina and Steve.” Either that or people are afraid to say no to projects in this economy!

The film follows a married couple who “find themselves in harm’s way after their routine date night goes horribly awry.” That could be very funny. I’m already thinking about The Out-of-Towners (1999) starring Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn. I seriously laughed until I cried.

My only hesitation is the type-casting I am seeing in the roles everyone will play. Wahlberg will be the buff guy who hits on Fey’s character while Franco will be a dumb criminal. On the plus side, at least they know these two can pull it off, right?

Date Night currently has a 2010 release date but filming is expected to begin later this spring.
