The 2010 Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre and was hosted by Jimmy Fallon. While there were a number of predictable winners, there were also some surprises. Here’s a look at the winners and losers at this year’s Emmy Awards.

Christina Hendricks is best known for role as Joan Holloway on the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning AMC series Mad Men. With her curvaceous figure, she is just perfect as the sexy 60s secretary. She began her career as a model before landing numerous supporting roles on TV shows and then recurring parts on ER and Firefly.

Though you might think she was born a redhead, Christina Hendricks is a natural blonde who has been dying her hair red since she was 10. Let’s take a look at this buxom beauty. If you like your women with curves, you’ll definitely appreciate Christina.

On DVD: “Mad Men” Season 2

The second season of the critically acclaimed television series, Mad Men, is now available on DVD. If you’re a fan of the series or if you’re just getting interested, now is a great time to look back on what happened since the third season premieres on August 16, 2009.

Mad Men launched on July 19, 2007 and, while it may not be the most viewed show on television, it certainly sounds like it’s worth watching. It won the Golden Globe for “Best Television Series – Drama” in both 2008 and 2009 and last year, lead actor Jon Hamm, took home the “Best Actor” prize for his work on the show.

The plot revolves around Don Draper (Hamm), who works as an advertising creative director at an agency on New York City’s Madison Avenue in the 1960s. While the events in his office and in his home are depicted, the series also sheds light on the changing social climate during that pivotal time period in American history.

Maybe I’m wrong (since I’ve never watched the show) but it sounds like a cross between the film Revolutionary Road and the TV show, The Wonder Years. I liked them both so maybe I should give Mad Men a try.

Jon Hamm The Next James Bond?

Is Daniel Craig already looking for his replacement? The James Bond star has mentioned that Jon Hamm could make a great successor under the right circumstances.

A recent Bond novel, Devil May Care, is set in the 1960s which Craig feels would be a perfect fit for the Mad Men star. He told Australia’s Herald Sun: “Have you seen that terrific series Mad Men? It’s great and I look at that guy [Hamm] and he’s got such a great look. If you’re doing the film of [Devil May Care] that look would be perfect. If you were doing a one-off film I would say that’s the way you would go.”

I don’t think a film adaptation of that particular novel is in the works so I doubt this will really be relevant in the end. Besides, aren’t Bond actors supposed to be British-born? Hamm was born in St. Louis, Missouri.

Then again… I never thought I’d see a blond James Bond so stranger things have happened. What do you think? Would you embrace an American Bond?
