As you can see in the pictures below, Kanye West wore a kilt. Or, depending on your definition, Kanye West wore a skirt. Either way, I’m not digging this look. Kanye West has enough money to come up with a cooler getup than this.

As Taylor Swift was about to accept an award, Kanye West stormed the stage in protest. Kanye West said that Beyonce deserved the award and not Taylor Swift.

While the moment made for good television, Kanye West would soon apologize for the outburst. Beyonce, too, apologized to Taylor Swift for Kanye’s actions. No matter, this was definitely a MTV VMA highlight.

Kanye West is loved by many and hated by many. He’s arguably the hottest thing going in the rap world. However, Taylor Swift fans still haven’t forgiven him. Plus, with Kanye West going out of his way to cause controversy (he recently compared himself to Hitler, for example), he’s sure to see his name in the headlines every couple of weeks.

This Kanye West fall was pretty hilarious. I hereby nickname it the “Fall of the Lights”. For some reason, after Kanye West fell, there was a light show in all of Bergen, Norway it seemed.

Overall, I’m not a fan of “E.T.” While the beat is quality, the lyrics are just too weak. Kanye West uses very simplistic lyrics — a far cry from his capabilities. Katy Perry’s lyrics are also rather elementary. She forces some rhymes and it just doesn’t completely work.

That said, this could be a huge pop success. It already has more than five million views on YouTube. It also introduces both Katy Perry and Kanye West to different genres — which will be good for record sales down the line.
