In the midst of all this crazy drama at NBC, Oprah Winfrey would be crazy not to try to snag an interview, right? It had been announced recently that Conan O’Brien would be giving up his spot on The Tonight Show so that Jay Leno would be taking back his position. Now, the Queen of talk shows, will be interviewing Jay Leno, the man who so many people are angry with right now. On her Friday show, Oprah… More »
This late night war is starting to get absolutely ridiculous. In case you don’t know what’s going on, after Jay Leno left the Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien took over. It was a transition that had been in the works for years but just before the switch, rumors started circulating about Leno not wanting to relinquish his seat.

It’s always important to get a new show off to a good start so I think it’s great that Jerry Seinfeld has agreed to be the first guest on Jay Leno’s new show.
The former late-night talk show host makes the jump to primetime next month with The Jay Leno Show when it premieres on September 14, 2009. I don’t know what to expect, really, but I’m assuming it’s going to be similar to The Tonight Show.
As if that’s not enough… More »

Last night, Jay Leno sat behind the desk as the host of The Tonight Show for the last time. In most ways, the episode that ended his 17-year-run was just like any other Leno show but there was a long ovation of him at the start of his monologue during which he thanked some newsmakers (including Michael Jackson and Monica Lewinsky) for making his job so easy over the years. He even talked about cleaning out his office and said:… More »
Jay Leno’s time as the host of The Tonight Show is quickly coming to an end and the comedian has announced the final guests scheduled to sit across from him on the famous set. The show will be turned over to fellow late-night talk show host, Conan O’Brien on June 1, 2009.
Here is the lineup:
Monday, May 25: Mel Gibson (21st appearance)
Tuesday, May 26: Arnold Schwarzenegger (he announced he was running for governor on the show back in 2003)
Wednesday, May 27:… More »
As you probably know, Jay Leno is leaving the Tonight Show (he will be replaced by talk show host, Conan O’Brien, later this year) but he doesn’t want to leave television all together (in fact, I’ve heard countless rumors about how he changed his mind but NBC had already given Conan a contract).
Now, with a 10pm variety-type show planned, many NBC affiliates are unsure about whether they will even broadcast the show. How’s that for loyalty? Boston’s WHDH is actually… More »
