He along with three others were said to have assaulted the promoter after Lloyd performed at Club NV on Friday.

Banks’ legal counsel in Canada, Patrick Ducharme, said, “There has been an agreement between the prosecution and defense for his release and the release for each of the individuals. I expect for him to be released tomorrow morning. It’s just a question of posting some bail, which I’m going to do. I’m going up there tonight with the money, and they’ll be released sometime tomorrow morning.”

Audio from the alleged victim, Chris Hines, had him explaining what happened. Chris can be heard as saying, “We got into a confrontation, and of course, they assaulted me, they kept me there for a little while, assaulted me for a few minutes, like 20 minutes, 30 minutes. They had me there for quite some time.”

On Tuesday, a bail hearing will be held.  For Banks, the bail is $50, 000 and for the others the bail is $25,000.

OK, maybe stun isn’t the right word. I mean, who doesn’t like to celebrate May Day? Evidently not the jovial Italian (OK, Canadian) pro wrestling heel Santino Marella (real name Anthony Carelli) and former WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison. Both have been pulled over in the past week on suspicion of drunk driving.

The Wrestling World News reported that Marella was arrested outside Tampa, Florida at 2:57 a.m. His blood alcohol level was reportedly a paltry .061, .02 lower than the legal limit. With a good lawyer Marella shouldn’t be in too much trouble.

Harrison on the other hand is in deeper water. The Times of London reports that the 30-year-old British former champion who has battled alcohol abuse in the past and spent time in a Spanish jail was “arrested on suspicion of drink-driving” and “had a 15-year-old girl in the car with him when he was stopped.” Underage girl half your age + drunk driving = bad news.
